A Bold retrieval from Stage RAPE PARTICLE
Urgent setup from Nirvaya to Park Street to Kamduni, Kolkata theatre group SPANDAN, marked them as the pioneer in Docu-Theatre in India, already raised its voice as the epilogue in Particle physics to sexuality. In their latest stage at Academy hall, Kolkata, Rape Particle-in the name of honour, categorized basic instinct in the backdrop of WWII to a recent era of South Asia. Nobel laureate physicist Jack Steinberger also himself associated with their voice claimed the director Prof. Sampa Sen.
It’s a journey of a French Playwright towards the symbolization of torture as a particle wave of male psychology which needs a strong binding from mathematical rule of law to get its grip. Once revealed a mind-blowing story of love-passion-politics and characterization of a true lady of this time, Prof. Sampa Sen mesmerized the audience by her beautiful accent of acting. Light plays an important and spectacular role in here. The basic logic of this innovative analogy of RAPE is basically a call from Particle Physics to assemble a fresh kind of investigation, rather experiment if may occur in an objective way. Playwright Sangram Guha and noted theatre veteran Ashok Mukhopadhyay also played a vital role in portraying this unique philosophy.
